Westfield, IN – ICE All Stars, a world class cheering, athletic and training facility, announced on January 19th, 2015 the acquisition of a Westfield based all-star gym. United by a common sports culture, Speed Athletics will adopt the ICE signature navy and gold in a recently finalized acquisition agreement. Located in Westfield, Indiana the facility will be renamed ICE Indy.

ICE All Stars is recognized worldwide as a top competitor in all-star cheerleading. “The ICE All Star program is unique of its kind. While we are highly competitive and addicted to our top- ranking status, our core is family first,” reported Darlene Fanning, Founder and Director at ICE All Stars, Coach to World Champion team, Lady Lightning, and once served on the Worlds Advisory Board. “When I met the coaching staff, athletes, and parents at Speed Athletics, I could see they were an amazing program with a sincere passion for the sport. Their collective approach, philosophy and environment is closely aligned with the ICE tradition of excellence,” commented Fanning.
Speed Athletics will compete their final competitions under their original name and coaching staff. “Since there were no original plans of purchasing Speed Athletics, we will have them continue out this competition season under their original name, uniforms, and leadership,” said Darlene Fanning. “We plan on holding clinics with our ICE coaching staff the remainder of the year and will add coaches to the program as they continue to grow next season. We are glad to have them as part of the ICE family and it’s evident that by having them join under the ICE brand, we will have profound positive outcomes for the athletes we serve. We are excited to welcome them aboard.”
