Seems like tumbling is the only area where USA is clearly ahead even as other countries make great strides, I'd say the gap in the other areas are getting closed.

Totally agree! In the US you must have a full to make ut on a level 5 team, but usually here in europe you just need a cartweel

I feel like most of the chants are similar. School/Country name, colors, etc.

Similar is one thing (obviously the chants have to remain simple enough for the crowd to join in), but word for word bothers me a bit. It's easier to get the crowd to participate in a chant they already know.

I guess I heard the same political answer everyone else heard, that they made the switch in order to challenge themselves, but that makes sense!

I would quite like Canada to come back to Elite, there are no level 6 teams in New Zealand (I think) because we have an open age division at every level and our level 5s compete in the international division at worlds so can't see us doing level 6 any time soon.

That i can agree with too. That is a way of making teams fight more. knowing that they need to get to a certains amout of points.

and it also means that there would be more variety of countries with a higher standard if the two rules worked together
