I figured instead of starting a new thread I would use this one since it is sort of the same thing.

I was watching a video of World Cup Odyssey and in their pryamid when the boy in the center goes the little transition thing with the girl instead of going straight over it seems like there is a small pause to the point of it being a 2-1-1. Could they get called for this?

It starts at about 1:58

I dunno, but they have to be SUPER careful about her inversion..

To me it just seems so iffy because of the pause and the fact that he grabs both of her feet it appears to be a 2-1-1. I am sure that there is some way that it is legal I am just curious if it could get called at a competition for being a 2-1-1 and have the deduction stick.

The chances of them getting a deduction round to 0.

WCO was warned this past weekend however on Day 2 to just be very careful and do a better job of keeping that skill in continuous motion. Day 1 was a little better, but Day 2 bordered on weight being born on the second level. So I know they were made aware that they are to make it a little "safer". I would like to know your opinion Andre on the FAME pyramid. I know that normally that split catch to prep is legal...but what about since they push it up before completing the skill? I could not make out where someone was able to reach up that high and be still touching that split from the ground haha.

I'm not surprised WCO was warned, but would be surprised if they lose any point performing it the way it was in the video. It will be like Orange's pyramid last year, warned every time, never deducted.

The FAME (is Fame supposed to be capitalized?) pyramid is no different than doing a rewind pyramid to the top. The shoulder stand bracers slow it down, but it's continuous until someone standing on the ground has it, even if the person on the ground only has it long enough to (volleyball) set the top person back into the air.

Andre - Thanks. I'm sure I could have figured it out...but my brain hurts after the weekend, so thanks ha!
