Ideas Needed Please

Football just ended, one of our guys took a pretty bad hit in the game Friday night, landed him in the ICU, he's going home tonight, missing school the rest of the week. The girls on the squad and I wanted to do something to welcome him back, we always do locker signs and cookies so he'll get those but we wanted to do more for him, as he is the head captain. He likes to fly under that radar and we're having trouble thinking of things that are low key and not too splashy. Any help is appreciated.

My oldest loves doing a "tie" blanket with their favorite team fleece on one side and blank fleece on the other. Then she goes around and has anyone that wants to sign it on the blank side with a permanent Sharpie.
