Are there no limits on how many international bids they give?

• At-Large Bids for All Teams will be based on scores. The Senior Level 5 Divisions are guaranteed at least 3 bids (between Paid and At-Large) to the Cheerleading Worlds
• The International Open teams are guaranteed at least 2 bids to the Cheerleading Worlds (between At-large and Paid bid (only Level 5))
• The 2 Final bids to the Cheerleading Worlds (3 bids if the Open Level 6 divisions fail to register 5 teams) will be determined by the Worlds Judging Panel. This decision will involve all bid eligible teams and will be made on a teams overall score and likelihood of success at the Cheerleading Worlds.

Well I will put our routine up against anyone's.

If you are referring to me....I will try to clarify again......this is not aimed at your team.......Its about how one of the top teams in a div and the bottom teams in another div, can received the same prize. I think if you are not at the top, then you should have to have a certain score to get a bid. I mentioned small girl in reference to at large, not paid. Again I'm sorry some people took it that way, I don't know how else to explain it.

Look At JAMZ how any teams going need at large bids? and how many are they giving? This is why Worlds is so huge.

Again, I put your team in the top 5 at Worlds. :)

SOO true. I know the USASF is kind of up in arms about how many teams get at large bids (hence the extra day of competition added at Worlds), but I feel like they could come up with a way to regulate it better. For example, maybe they give EPs bids based on the number of registered teams. It would suck because that means gyms wouldn't know how many bids are being given out until after they are committed to the event, but I feel like if you really deserve a bid, you wouldn't be seeking out the 9th place at large bid anyways.

*shrug* I just think there's a better way to regulate bids, because this competition is a little ridiculous. At this point, EVERY level 5 without a bid is gonna get one no matter what.

Also, I think limiting international teams is unfair. Not sure why they do it because all I see that doing is making the senior divisions gigantic. Does anyone know why the have this regulation?

I like the idea of having a certain score in order to a receive a bid... because it's comps like this where just too many are handed out.
but I think worlds is doing a good job of weeding those teams out with prelims, semi-finals, and finals.

so yea ....Mysterious is def getting one of those paid bids.....its gunna be an amazing battle between CF NFINITY and PCM KARMA for the other one....... im excited to see what NFINITY pulls out....

No one is "definitely" getting anything. It will be a battle for that paid, but it will definitely depend on who hits.

IMO the teams I see vying for the paid bids would be OC Sm Senior, PCM Mysterious, Cheerforce Nfinity, and Cheerforce Senior Black

but like I said it 100% depends on who hits and who doesn't

I think it's between PCM Mysterious, CF Nfinity, PCM Karma, CF Black, PCM Believe. Possibly Fierce LK!
In my opinion, it's between PCM and CF teams for those pairs.. :)

Are EPs required to give out all of the at-large bids they advertise? Because from the looks of it so far, this comp is going to be a battle of the current at-large bids for the paid and then a freebie give away of some of the at-large bids. If Podunk all stars is smart (from a business point of view) they will remove all their 11and unders from their 4.2 (or 3 or 4 or insert any team) and enter as a 5. That bid is fantastic advertising for the following season. Seriously...I know we would have thought "wow, they qualified for worlds!" when we first were looking for cheer gyms. Additionally, most of the families/athletes would probably be thrilled to have the worlds experience even if they were one and out on Friday.
