I'm against this. There was a reason why it changed. And what would you have to look forward to?

I am very flattered that you enjoyed the book. Thank you!It already happened with the Summit--Peppermint was a Mini team and competed up as a Youth team for a bid. (@cRayCheerDad wrote a really good book about it, actually.)

Not a fan..
Eta: looks as if it's not THE WORLDS. Looks like they're creating a different event for junior 5 worlds.?

True but if it's an event separate from regular Worlds why bother?I hate the "what would you have to look forward to?" argument.
I believe plenty of juniors who competed at Worlds back when it was a thing (or on senior teams back before there was an age limit) still continued to cheer through their last year of senior eligibility. (And won many rings.)
If you've got a passion, you've got a passion.

What's the point of a j5 worlds if they already have summit? It wouldn't really be any different besides only having j5 teams there. I feel like there aren't enough j5 teams to have enough competition within each individual j5 division such as large j5.
Because parents will pay for their kids to go to Worlds. More money for whichever company is running it.True but if it's an event separate from regular Worlds why bother?
