Level 2 Skills:

Stunts: Transition Maintaining Contact w/1 base - Would this be like a "Leap Frog"?
Pyramids: Release Move to Cradle - I must be having a brain fart - cuz I cant think of a release move to Cradle?

About the Stunts one, yes that is like a leap frog
and im not completely sure about the pyramids one, but maybe its just clarifying that from the pyramid the groups can release to cradle from a one-legged extended stunt

Thanks for the clarification. Anyone else have a take on the pyramid "Release Move to Cradle?

Also - Is there another way to invert into a stunt Level 2 besides Handstand over the Backspot? We have Small and SHORT flyers with Giraffes for backspots.... Makes this hard!

could also be a level 2 switch up/tick tock. or a prep that half turns with the back maintaining contact?

Not much you can do here because you havce to follow stunt rules too, but you can do a sponge toss to cradle braced on one (or both) sides.

back extension roll/walkover to handstand to crunch/whatever
forwards walkover/handspring to cradle
walkover into crunch with the backspot assisting rather than going over them

hope that helps! :-)

You could have the flyers backwalkover in.

would a flat back count?

I have done this in level 3 and I don't see any reason why it would be illegal in level 2. Someone tell me if it's not.

Watch this at like 1:08. Don't watch the groups with a front spot, that makes it impossible to see. They set the flyer down from a cradle into a handstand but kicking up into one would work too.

Would these be legal in the pyramid (both are braced by two preps on both sides) :

-Flyers are tossed (like in a smoosh toss) and they do a "tuck jump" kinda thing and land in cradle.
-Flyers are tossed (like in a smoosh toss) and they kick and land in a cradle.

Would they also be considered a release move for pyramid?

Only straight rides are allowed in level 2, so I would think both would be considered illegal, regardless of them being in a pyramid.

Our senior 2 team has a handstand half up and kick release cradle (base still has contact with flyer) in our pyramid. I have a video of our last performance (though our routine has changed from this video, those moves are in there) if anyone wants to see but you'll have to PM me because I'm not allowed to post the link.

Oh I forgot to say that a flyer at prep also holds onto the kicking flyer for the release move!
