so if a top is in a stretch pyramid with an arm-arm connection on one side, and a foot-hand connection on the other, could the top cradle with a 1/4 turn while still being braced on both sides?

Illegal. They have to get into a handstand themselves. Youre not allowed to touch someone while they are becoming inverted. The flier has to invert herself then the group can help her become un-inverted.I have done this in level 3 and I don't see any reason why it would be illegal in level 2. Someone tell me if it's not.

Watch this at like 1:08. Don't watch the groups with a front spot, that makes it impossible to see. They set the flyer down from a cradle into a handstand but kicking up into one would work too.
Good to know. So a handstand (on their own) flip over into a smush would be another possible inversion you could add instead of the over the back spot action, Kyle.Illegal. Adding to my earlier post: if the flier brings the foot that was being held by the bases up to meet her other one after she is popped, would that still count as a straight cradle?LEVEL 2 PYRAMIDS
A. Pyramids must follow Level 2 "Stunts" and "Dismounts" rules and are allowed up to 2 high.
Level 2 Dismounts
D. Only straight pop downs, basic straight cradles and 1/4 turns are allowed.
for the level 2 pyramid "release" you could do the 1/4 turn to the cradle, but you could not kick or ball up. Several teams got deducted for this in UT a couple weeks ago at a competition.
