Just something for example. On SE they do one toe touch, literally just stand there for another count, and then they do 2 to tuck. Could there not be a little something extra and just not being like “ okay score sheet says this is perfectly fine” .

I am not bothered as much by quantity of jumps as I am with stunt quanity.

Y'all are going to stop putting a 4th person under your stunts like this is 3rd grade Pop Warner.

Nope, F5 won. And, rightfully so IMHO. I watched both teams and have no dog in the fight. I saw a lot of two to layouts/tucks. Some running layouts, etc. the big bobble/fall all contribute. (Execution) don’t get me wrong. Both had great routines but F5 was strong this time. Had SE not watered the stunt down, they may have had a better opportunity for more points. I’m not a judge, nor a coach. Just watched cheer for 13 years (doesn’t make me an expert at all, not my point) this is strictly my opinion on my observation of both teams.

I think F5 has more tumbling than SE for sure. I also didn't see one layout in running tumbling, let alone many layouts in SE routine. As someone pointed out earlier even with "watered down" stunts they are scoring higher than they did before. The raw score was over 98 for 3 UCA, NCA and BATC.

See also: I do not notice layouts much in tumbling but I DO notice that there are teams with larger numbers of people NOT tumbling during running tumbling (not speaking of SE.)

Not that everyone HAS to. I get it. There are some kids on the team in specialist roles who maybe are not Level 5 in tumbling. But sometimes when I watch routines, it seems like a almost half the team does not have a pass in running tumbling.

I was on the side watching SE, there were a few layouts to the back.

And as UCA Small Senior scores has shown us, once you hit “majority” in tumbling there isn’t a large “reward” to put in more tumbling or difficulty and potentially take a hit in execution scores.

This is a more general comment but just wanted to say going through the video threads I am loving the XS Senior division. I was a skeptic at first and saw it as a definite ploy to make more money and add more teams to an already overfilled Worlds event.

I stand corrected and am loving the innovation going into these routines. Loving the recognition that lesser-known gyms are getting and the excitement of the kids finally getting the opportunity to actually compete for titles instead of pretty much going to participate. Miss Silver, Bombshells (at NCA) and Chiefs are killing it (among many others).

I'm not pin pointing at a certain team more in general overall in the sport overall...

I really do hope that Judging is scored in a way that its supposed to... based on the actual technical aspect of the skills rather than what they're wearing, fan base, and sparkle of their uniform... i've seen sooooooo many teams (yes, push the envelope in some skills) NOT execute skills like catching "elite" skills at prep level, body lines all different, motions hitting at different counts... its just really annoying that this sport spends MILLIONS of dollars to have a "BIASED" judgement and go from teams scoring so high in divisions that (no offense) should not be scoring in the high 97's-99's based on EXECUTION. But instead they're scoring so high in their division because of the retweets they get, or what their music says, and people are talking about them on social media.

I might be the only that feels this way... But those are my two cents going into worlds.
*I do NOT have any teams in these divisions that everyone fan girl over. So im not coming from a salty, bitter place when posting this* ;)

No, but judges are fully aware of high profile teams (and are sometimes friends with the coaches of those teams). The only thing that’s reaching are the scores closer to 100

Im actually talking about alot of divisions not one in particular.. if a certain team sticks out to you then i guess it pertains to them too. but im talking about the overall worlds divisions
