All-Star Nearby Gym Controversy

@jasoncheerdad - middle school aged children should have a voice. I would teach your daughter to use it. If you don't want her stunting with another team, then tell her so, and if she is asked at practice she should use that voice of hers and say NO. It could well be that she enjoyed stunting with the team. I know of many schools that practice at all star gyms and they often stunt with all star athletes. Sometimes it is easier to teach stunt technique using more experienced athletes.
You've gone from saying the gym contacted parents, to the gym is recruiting athletes directly, to the gym is hosting practices for a middle school team (which is perfectly acceptable and is done often with school cheer). Your posts have been inconsistent at best which is why some responses may be confusing to you.

After reading this thread, though I don't agree with the coach asking for kids to quit mid season, I would be more disappointed with any athlete/parent that left mid season and not with the coach asking.

**That will be 5 cents please**

Not sure what ulterior motive you are referencing.
Unfortunately, we find that a lot of "newbies" come on the site not to gain info, but to cause drama/get attention. I'm was not saying you were doing that, but the footprint we see a LOT is similar to the path you have taken. Relatively new poster comes onboard and starts common/controversial threads and usually includes enough thinly veiled info about gyms so that everyone can kind of figure out who the poster is "tattling on". I apologize wholeheartedly if this is truly not your intention! As others have said, as a new member, it is sometimes better to spend a good amount of time researching info on here as you would be amazed how many of these scenarios have been discussed at length. Especially, stuff like recruiting, banning, and cheating.
