Need Advice On How To Keep Older Kids In Our Area From Choosing Hs Sports Over Staying In Allstar C

I know several gyms that work with the athletes to do both and that seems to be the most rewarding. It's really not that difficult in our area all HS football games are on either Fri night or Saturday afternoon so we don't practice our senior age kids Friday and Saturday. This also helps to prevent conflict with dances, and other activities. Schools are not allowed to have events on Sundays so that's always a senior practice day. The fall comp season is over by the first week of November for HS and we start competing after that. Most kids in our area don't cheer winter with HS bcuz that's when they are focusing on Allstar. You see a dramatic shift in competitiveness from fall to winter. But the HS coaches all know and understand this. They spend winter building their non allstar/newer athletes and they always get their kids back ready to compete for the next fall.
