I'm sad I missed basically all of NCA today because of work, but tomorrow I'm just gonna sit home and watch all day!

Lol I wish I could have done that but my store is in the basement so there's no service :( I literally would have had to leave and go outside to check the app throughout the day.

I would have been like "uhhh I'm just going to take the trash out..." and then my boss would be like "again?" and I'd be all "uhhh yeah, it fills up pretty quickly"

I got out once throughout the day by pretending that I left my socks in the car and I got a blister lol,The weird things I have to do to keep up with cheer.
 
I'm debating on whether to purchase the live stream for tomorrow… I really really really want to see all the teams, especially the international 5's and 6's, but I also don't know if I should really spend the money or if it will even be worth it. It doesn't seem like the quality is that great and I also only have a laptop and people said it kinda buffers a lot on laptops… :confused:
 
Does anyone have a good recipe for salad? Like a healthy one not smothered in ranch with bacon all through it. I tried to make one yesterday and it was so gross.

I have a million. But I'm on my phone and it would take me all day to type them out. If you tag me tomorrow evening and remind me when I'm at work, I can make you a list of about 15. All of them healthy.

I make a quinoa/kale/cherry tomato/avocado salad that is healthy, light and filling.

QUINOA SALAD:
1 pound quinoa (prepare as instructed on package) cooled
3 cups fresh chopped kale (steamed 5 minutes) cooled
1 cup cherry tomatoes (sliced in half)
1 avocado (sliced in cubes)
1/2 cup pine nuts (toasted in 1 tsp olive oil)
Fresh lemon juice- to taste

Combine all of above ingredients except lemon juice

Prepare dressing below

Dressing:
1 tbl olive oil
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tbl red wine vinegar
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

Pour dressing over quinoa mix. Combine thoroughly. Add fresh squeezed lemon juice to taste.
Serve cooled, slightly warm, or chilled.

It is tasty and satisfying. Enjoy!!

My dad always made a really good one over summer. It was just spinach, some chicken, strawberries, random vegetables that we had in the house (usually carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers), sliced up avocados, shredded cheese and then a raspberry vinaigrette dressing. Yumm

Like I said I'll make you a list tomorrow, but one I like (and make often) is:

-Mixed greens
-Sugar snaps
-Salad crunch mix from Trader Joes (I have no idea what it's called, but it's a mix of really chopped up bits of carrots, red cabbage, and other crunchy veggies) You can use just chopped carrots too.
- mangoes
- grilled chicken
- goat cheese (only a tiny bit!)
- Dressing: mix of frozen berries (thawed), balsamic vinegar, and either Splenda or agave

It's sooooooooooo good.
