I saw Beyonce Monday night floor seats, and it was heavenly. I wish, I could've done the MCWT but I'm lucky to have gotten to see her at all. I think being on the floor made it so good.

And the show actually started 45 minutes late, and it should've started later bc there was crazy traffic, and many people were still filtering in when I got there 3 minutes before it started. My seats were at the back of the stadium but because it was on the floor we still were able to walk in and even got to be in the front section for the first few songs.

it just irks me. like i have a hard time believing he did that vine in one take for starters. Its also sad to see a bunch of, im guessing, pre teen kids act like its ok because he tweeted he was sorry. But then puts up a youtube video making fun of all the new haters he has gained, which makes it look like he doesnt give a crap that he made a homophobic vine cause it got him more attention.
His video about what girls should do to attract guys was just as bad to me. It was him and some other kid. They were just sounding off back and forth about things they find hot. They would try to seem nice and sincere by saying "just be yourself!" and then in the next breath "don't be awkward!" and "shave your legs, hair is so gross!" -____- Girls actually don't exist to just appeal to your and your loser friends.

I'm sure he doesn't give a crap. After all, his fans idolize him and in their eyes he can do no wrong. It's like justin bieber fans.

I have - I didn't have a group interview though. I will say it was not my favorite place I've ever worked. Are you trying for a particular department?

Not really, I'll take wherever I can get haha. On the phone they said they were thinking about putting me in the children's section since I used to work at a daycare.

I've never interviewed at JC Penny's but I've done group interviews and they are the worst. You have to be outgoing. They'll ask a question to the group, not necessarily directed towards anyone, and if you don't speak up then the interviewer will move on whether you answered or not. Don't wait for them to ask you specifically because sometimes they won't. I'm pretty introverted so that was always really hard for me. Make sure you stick out to them (in a good way) and be confident. All other typical interview tips apply. Good luck!

Ahh that makes me a little nervous haha I'm pretty introverted too. I usually get super nervous during one on one interviews so I'm hoping this might take some of the pressure off.

Thank you!! :)

photo or it didn't happen

Of course it is giant..I think this deserves a spot in the "not so fierce photos" thread, it would be more appropriate. This, my friends, is the result of old age, attending a UCA college that did not require back flexibility skills, being retired from cheer for 2 years, and not pulling a scorp in approximately 6 years. lol please feel free to point and laugh and be entertained, ya'll are welcome. :D

Does anyone have any good snacks that are gluten free or recipes that are easy to make? I didn't realize how hard going gluten free would be until I actually had to do it. ):

Not gluten free myself, but just search "gluten free" on pinterest and the options are endless.

Thanks! I've looked a little but they all look so complicated and overwhelming. I'll try again!

Yeah, you do have to hunt a little bit. Hopefully you can find a few that work for you and then follow those specific blogs or pages if all of their ideas are similar.

it really depends on what you're looking for and what your diet is like. i've been gluten free for about 6 months and for the most part, my diet hasn't had to change. i eat heavy amounts of fruits, vegetables, and meat with some dairy mixed in. i replaced pasta with rice and that was that. for my carb cravings, i highly recommend Pamela's baking and pancake mix. its kind of like a bisquick, but you can make anything out of it... like biscuits, pancakes/waffles, cookies, muffins, breads, pizza, etc. its an easy go to. for nights i don't have time to cook my "fast foods" are either chipotle (everything except the tortilla for burritos is gluten free, so get a bowl) or ill stop at the grocery and grab a rotisserie chicken.

in the beginning it's an adjustment just having to be aware of everything you're eating, but it gets easier! if you're looking for any specific product recommendations, like breads or pastas, let me know! it's a lot of trial and error with the replacements and some are absolutely gross, but there are good things out there! if there are specific recipes you're looking for, too, or things you're trying to make let me know and ill try to help! for me, it was less about finding new recipes and more about finding ways to tweak things i already made and sub in gluten free ingredients.
