I paid 50 to see Brand New / Manchester Orchestra / Kevin Devine this August, and I can't wait. A Yellowcard show sounds bomb.

The most I've ever paid for a ticket was like 190, but it's for Madonna and in the lower bowl of the Verizon Center.

It was literally the best day of my life and I still can't believe I finally got to see them live. I was all I talked about for weeks.

Brand New was in town the week after Yellowcard was and I was so bummed I didn't get tickets. They sold out almost instantly [emoji17]

I'm definitely going to be spending a couple hundred on Taylor Swift when she comes to the city near me. I would pay a lot of money to see Beyonce too.

I wouldn't call that lame. Then again, I'm the one who would pay that kind of money to see The Lion King, Fun Home, or Hamilton (when it gets to Broadway, that is).
I would definitely pay more for a Broadway show than I would for most concerts. I agree that's not lame! I still have not made my trip to NY that I've been trying to make since last summer. [emoji20]

Yes - I did pay a couple hundred for Bey. I do like Taylor Swift a lot, but she's not on my list of performances I'd want to see. I've never seen her live, but any performance I've seen her do on TV has just been her standing there singing.

There are so few concerts I'd be willing to pay that to watch. The best concert I saw was a Fri night REM/Sat night Radiohead double header. We flew out to Vancouver for it and to visit friends and it was worth every penny, though I think both shows were under $200 if I remember. Open seating on a football field, so nice and cheap.

I've seen Britney Spears, Aaron Carter, Hannah Montana, Taylor Swift, and Jason Aldean. My (now ex) stepdad paid ALOT for our Tswift and Jason Aldean tickets.I LOVE JASON ALDEAN. Both were floor seats BUT, I did get to hug Taylor and got her guitar pick she threw out (we were on the floor right next to where she went onto this little platform to sing... so it was worth the money. I did get punched in the face by some lady though bc I got the guitar pick.) I know my friends mom paid a lot for Hannah Montana too, but I think I was in 6th grade when that happened. The concert sold out almost immediately. My mom also just paid a lot for Garth Brooks tickets when he was in Knox the weekend before last. I'm not really a concert person, but I don't mind them. I would probably pay a lot to see Bey or Rascal Flatts, though.

My friend and I are planning to see Matilda this summer before one of the actresses leaves the show. I'm super duper pumped. I've been dying to see it for over a year. Luckily it's pretty cheap compared to some of the other shows I want to see. Child labor helps, I'm sure :P

The best way to see concerts: work at a concert venue. Haha, I saw so many amazing people in concert in those 6 summers. Not quite as fun as enjoying it with friends, but at least I got paid to do it.

Yes! This is how I saw Selena Gomez (I loved her back when I was 16) and Maroon 5 for free [emoji7] I worked parking at the place that they were playing at (they did a lot of small concerts and Broadway type plays). I was originally going to actually go to the Maroon 5 concert but the tickets sold out really quick so I just worked it instead and we got to go in after haha.

I've got a good one. My best friend's stepsister just got engaged. She's 18, he's 19, they've been together 8 months. She got engaged AT her brother's wedding. Literally near the ceremony space right before it started. Her mother (also the groom's mother) almost missed the ceremony of her son because she was too busy taking and posting pictures of the newly engaged couple.
Dear Lord. Rude!:banghead::banghead::banghead:

And to think, I paid $27 to see my favorite band (Yellowcard) in concert back in April [emoji28]

My dad loves Kenny Chesney and he's paid like $250 a piece for tickets and I thought that was nuts. I can't even imagine dropping hundreds of dollars for nosebleeds.

Even more crazy, my friends got Kenny Chesney tickets on Groupon for this Thursday night (same week, same town, same venue as those insane T Swift tickets) for $24.

omg. y'all should see the price of hockey tickets. i have trouble admitting how much i have spent on them but i can tell you 300 for decent seat is a pretty good price... (at least for team i wanna see)
Oh trust me, I believe it. I'm paying about $1000 for two seasons tickets to my school's football games. Seven games total. And that doesn't include the amount you have to pay to join the club just to be able to purchase them.

And then I wonder why I'm so broke, lol

Yes! I used to work at a small place, and I saw sooooooooooo many great bands (STP, Matchbox 20, etc - obviously this was in the 90s lol) for FREE and got full access to the whole building including backstage, VIP, etc. Sigh... Those were the days.

Ha! Truth. I live in Chicago, so if there's one thing I know about, it's the price of hockey tickets. #ridiculous

The Hawks are the only Chicago team I've never seen play, because the tickets are so completely outrageous (and that's saying a lot, considering our Bears tickets were a couple hundred dollars!) Meanwhile, Cubs tickets can be gotten for $5 [emoji1] [emoji1] [emoji1]
