College basketball, probably not. But I grew up in SEC land and it's probably verrrrry similar to pregame activities for a football game.

yeahhhh Providence's football team ended when WWII began (kind of a cool story, actually)...I haven't been to a football game since 2009.

its all over twitter, the cat ended up being fine.. oddly enough my cat did the same stupid thing a few years ago by getting its head stuck in a lamp shade in my old apartment.
I had a dog when he was just a puppy get his head stuck in a recliner in the cut out where the mechanism that holds the footrest goes through. He was flailing all over the place but wasn't hurt. After that he never went in the living room if the recliner footrest was up. For his 12 yrs. Anytime he heard or saw the footrest go up he'd bolt out of the room.

my family dog growing up got its head stuck in the cat door once that led to the outside, i still have a picture of it to this day somewhere. my dad literally had to take the whole cat door off to get her head out.

Well. Glad to see it wasn't getting electrocuted like I initially thought.

I'd be the sister that stood there not moving while my sisters tried to save it (*a dog because my family would never ever in a million years have owned a cat)

My pup got her paw stuck in her crate when she was 12 weeks. My brother was watching her and she fell asleep in her crate, rolled over and managed to tangle her little paw in between the wire rectangles. He calls my dad and my dog is screeching in the background, totally traumatized and unwilling to let my brother get near her. He tried to slide her paw out and she promptly bit him. Dad rushes home (funny, we were at a cheer competition) and has to cut apart the crate with tools in order to untangle her.

Not that anyone cares but my library pulled through! I got to pick up a copy of the Hamilton book today. Guess no one from my branch requested it so it went to me first :cloud9: The librarian at the desk said everyone at the library was so excited to see it come in.

@RobinSparkles I hope yours comes in soon. It's such a beautiful book. I'm going to cherish these three weeks I have with it. (It might even take me the whole three weeks to read it...)

just booked my tickets for hawaii in june for my best friends wedding! three adults (taking my sister along to babysit) and a 9 month old, and i was talked into upgrading to economy plus for more leg room...."It's only an extra $300 per person, babe, let's do it, please?"

I don't want to think about paying off my credit card at the moment.

but I am so excited and I can't wait to see her!

A owner from a well-known gym just suffered a "coup"...

All of the coaches decided to turn their back on her and found a new gym... in a building right next to it. Apparently, the coaches even met the teams to say that the owner was bankrupt and that they are creating something new without her...

That is a huge bomb that dropped yesterday... since that gym is going to Worlds, I really wonder what it is going to look like...

I won't tell the name of the gym now because I don't believe that story is out there yet. And yes, the owner is now aware of what is happening.

Do you know any similar story to this one?
