OT New Random Thread

Just got a new pocketbook! Adorable, but it's leopard-print, so I'm feeling a little Freehold, NJ-ish about it. You understand.

I had to call AAA about 6 times in the past two weeks...car trouble while at college is oh-so fun :rolleyes: I am definitely starting to feel like an "adult" and learning valuable life lessons ha even though I still call my Mom everytime I am having issues so I am not an adult quite yet! Thank goodness for AAA, definitely recommend them-the service is great and the people are wonderful!

Wow, that would make a great grad gift! I've had it since I first got my car and of course never had to use it until I leave home and go off to college. I'm so thankful for them and the guy who came out today was so sweet and took the time to explain everything to me! I don't normally tip ever, but when they really go out of the way I usually give a 20 or so because these guys really don't get paid much yet they do so much!

That's so sweet of you to tip! I'm too broke to do that...and that's why I have AAA ;) I got a "care" package for graduation - I thought it was really lame at the time - AAA membership, a pink girly screwdriver/pliers mini tool box, duct tape, and a bunch of other random stuff. Every single thing I got in that package got used within the first week I was at school!! Now I give a similar package to grads I love!

One of my daughter's friends has been back at the gym for a few weeks now after missing the season from a knee injury.
She thinks she reinjured it tonight - :(. So frustrating, just hoping it's not as bad as she fears.

We had a contest to see would could sell the most 99 cent bakery items, and I won that :) I won a $50 gift card to Wegmans! But I'm sure you don't know what Wegmans in. Hahahah
