The whole back of the uniform is mesh I have an issue with that as well as open back uniforms. the vast majority of uniforms in here concern me. I think anyone under 18 should have a full top no mesh
You are entitled to your opinion about uniforms, not everyone feels the same way you do though. I wouldn't make a generalized comment about all mesh uniforms. CA's new uniform has mesh and is very age appropriate and I wouldn't be concerned about my under age cp wearing it.

I understand that. I never said anyone had to have the same opinion as me. Different opinions make the world go round

I have an athlete around the same age. I think she looks fierce and age appropriate from bow to toe!

Then why are you knocking down a fellow coach for his opinions?
It wasn't necessarily knocking it was more like why does this industry need open backs and tons of mesh? What's the point of sexualization. I've been on the boards a while and am pretty tame I'm sincerely not trying to be drama. Like I said most people knocking me in here had no problem ganging up on a guy in the body rubbing thread.

"That a guy would want to see young girls in nude mesh."

Oh yeah I can totally see you not knocking there.

Y'all, I made it! I posted a comment on IG about unflattering side cutouts for bigger girls and how we deserve to feel comfortable and confident in our uniforms too, and a coach from that gym acknowledged/fat shamed me! Woohoo!
I'm sorry... a coach fat shamed you? Did I read it right?

Yes, he said I looked like a can of popped biscuits overflowing from the side. What a way to represent the gym he works for because I critiqued their uniform. I only hope the more sizeable kids he coach aren't talked to that way.

ETA: But more importantly, we should make uniform designs that are flattering to all shapes and sizes and shouldn't make a busty girl/flat girl/rail thin girl/curvy girl/tall girl/short girl/pale girl/tan girl/etc. feel self conscious and uncomfortable. Most of these athletes are at an age where they start having body image issues and wearing a uniform where they feel inadequate doesn't help.

As someone that used to cheer for UCF, I will say I would not be comfortable wearing this uniform...However, this is for junior and under teams so it does look much better on them than it would on a more developed girl...

Here is the senior team version

And the tiny team has a different version of the 'dress' uni

Again, not trying to justify the uniform at all, just trying to shed some different light on them....

Oh, and all girls were provided with a custom sports bra to go under the uniform too.
The senior one looks a lot better. The colors on the gradient look nice! I just prefer when uniforms have something across the chest instead of leaving it open. IMO, it looks unfinished.
