I'm a teenager & don't understand why people would want to play this game. What's so fun about passing out & being choked? Maybe schools should start adding this awareness to their talks they have with students.

I think there is a "movement" to educate...It is so senseless.

Yeah, it was pretty popular around here during the 90ies. No idea if it's still being "played"... I never tried it, never got why people did it at all.

I kind of know what you mean....I was very reluctant to even draw attention to what the game was but for those that are giving this a try...they need to understand how dangerous it is. The recent article on the Panthers where this "game" was casually mentioned scared the bejeezus out of me. Then we heard about this young man and my heart sank...it hit very close to home.
