All-Star Prayers For Newton, Ct

We've been following this all day - we work with schools and teachers so this hits very close to home. We just heard that the shooter was a 20 year old man from NJ and his mother worked in the school.
Prayers to all the families and to everyone who was affected by this senseless tragedy.

I just read his mom was the kindergarden teacher....he shot her and then the class full of kids. All this after killing his father at home.....

I am sure there is nothing anyone could have done to prevent this. Who would have ever expected something like this to happen. This is the unfortunate VIOLENT world we live in. Too many people so full of hatred.
It has to stop. As hard as it is, we ALL need to stop the hating. Stop the violence.

This can happen anywhere: Schools, Church, The Mall, Grocery store, games, Cheer competitions..... This has just made me so sad today!!! Praying for the Entire community of Newton, CT, especially for the Children's Families- This is just so Shocking-but not surprising because of the World we now live in!!! Schools will have to turn into Maximum Security Prisons at this rate, or Home School our Children!!! Seriously horrible. My mom was in tears just watchimng it on the news I cannot even begin to fathom how those parents and kids feel. And even the ones that weren't harmed, having to live with that vision. Simply horrible. I also think that this tragedy hit Obama pretty close to home with him having 2 children, he seemed extremely emotional while he was making a statement. So sad.

This makes me so sick to my stomach. How on the world does someone even fathom killing children! My heart breaks for the families involved I can not even begin to imagine what they are going through right now.

There are no words. We watched footage of the school and Obamas press conference the last 10 minutes of my 8th hour class. Just devastating. I'll definitely hug my family a little tighter tonight. Prayers to everybody in CT, and especially to the families of the victims.

Its Newtown, CT not Newton. My back yard. My hometown Monroe and Newtown always had such a rivalry growing up in cheerleading from youth to high school with the town and i'm just devastated. everyone pray and hold your families close.

I haven't watched videos yet (bc I know I'll bust into tears), but I have read the stories. Whoever this is, is a sick man they're innocent children. This makes me so sick knowing there's people like this.

This was even in our news here in Slovenia on TV (I'm actually watching it right now) and my hear is broken for this family. Poor kids and families. Prayers from Slovenia! <3
