I was just wondering.. Does anyone think Gymtyme doesnt get as much respect as they deserve?

You never really see them talked about in threads and dont seem to have as much support as they used to at compeitions, even though i have only seen them at Dallas and Worlds

i think gt definately gets the respect they deserve, i just dont think they get talked about as much as some other gyms. dont get me wrong gt is talked about ALOT, but not as much as wc, cea, tg, ca, etc. even though they are just as talented

It's probably because their best teams are all Open teams, which aren't nearly as popular as all of the Senior divisons.

Well Louisville gets a lot of recognition..​

and since Louisville=Gymtyme...I would say Gymtyme gets the respect they deserve​

It's probably because their best teams are all Open teams, which aren't nearly as popular as all of the Senior divisons.

Also, I feel like we don't usually see the teams as often since they are busy with UofL during football, basketball, and college nationals seasons.. Where some teams compete 10 times, GT open teams may only go to 5 competitions, just enough to get the bid.

They don't get talked about because everyone knows GT is good, it's just a fact. They're always good. Same with Brandon. No one talks about them as much for the same reason. Teams like SE, Stars, Top Gun, etc have people who think another team is better than them, thus creating threads where they get talked about all the time.

I think that they get a ton of respect it just isn't talked about as much on the board as other gyms or teams. I do feel though that sometimes people just link Louisville with GymTyme so much that they think they are the same, sure some of the teams are mostly Louisville athletes (open teams), but their senior club teams have just as many high school athletes as college athletes. Hard to not respect a gym with the talented coaches and history that GymTyme has.

I think it all depends on the division everyone knows any team in large senior is getting attention. I think ALOT of the Medium Coed (ex-large limited teams) and Small Limited teams don't get as much recognition at they should. I.E. Twist and Shout, Spirit of Texas, Brandon, Rockstar, Charlotte, etc etc. But I really don't expect it to change.

Although I DO wonder what the heck we're gonna talk about when large senior dies..

All I ever talk is gymtyme they are to die for!!! I think people respect them a lot!

whether they get the respect or not.. does it really matter.. they're routines are great, the athletes are great, with amazing coaches.. a board doesnt make a team the routine does.. theyre a great gym.. !

but i do think they have the respect
