The "It Get's Better Project" is a great project where people have recorded messages about how life does get so much better after the tough adolescent years. That project is geared specifically to gay and lesbian youth who are being harassed and the videos feature people who experienced similar harassment years earlier but are now leading very happy lives.

How about if we do a similar project for cheerleaders who are being harassed?

this was in our local paper. I did not realize that he was only 13. What a horrible burden for such a young child to bear. My heart is breaking for his family and friends. Many prayers being sent their way.

Prayers and love to you all, as well as Nigel's family. Almost a year ago my 15 year old cousin committed suicide because of bullying, so my heart is definitely with you. Though it cannot bring him back, I hope that school/local law has something in place to deal with the people who did the bullying. Stay strong, and if you need to talk, feel free to PM me.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's so sad that people get made to feel so bad about something which they love to do, so much that they believe that committing suicide is the only way out :( RIP Nigel. Sending prayers from the UK.
