i think its just a ploy to get attention. from what i saw he kept tweeting "RT if i should open a gym in _____!) (not sure if he did it for all states but i saw at least 15-20..)

if you don't even know what STATE you want to open a gym in, are you really ready to open a gym??????

No it's him showing why cheerleaders need to make sure an education always takes priority over cheer.

Once new cheerlebrities pop up this old batch are going to really become desperate...similar to the duggars or any reality show person. The fame and attention are addicting. A lot of his behavior is very attention seeking. I think a lot of the cheerlebrities will crash and burn which is unfortunate. I wish him luck but I'm pessimistic

The only ones I can see rising in the future are mostly gym owners' kids, plus a few standouts. I don't think that the cheerlebrity craze will ever be as intense as it once was.

It's hard to tell if it will be or not, especially with the rising popularity of Instagram accounts for 6 year old "future SMOED/Senior Elite/Louisville/UK" cheerleaders that are run by their mothers. With those children experiencing a brief taste of "fame" at a young age, it makes you wonder if they may be more inclined to seek it out in the future.

Good point.

It's just fame. It isn't money or guarantee of success. It is way more scrutiny. People confuse fame, success, and financial payback. If they just had fame this would be so much easier. I saw an article interview Sia which I thought summed it up pretty well.

“If anyone besides famous people knew what it was like to be a famous person, they would never want to be famous,” Sia wrote. “Imagine the stereotypical highly opinionated, completely uninformed mother-in-law character and apply it to every teenager with a computer in the entire world. Then add in all bored people, as well as people whose job it is to report on celebrities. Then, picture that creature, that force, criticizing you for an hour straight once a day, every day, day after day.”

Such irony to that Sia statement.

I agree though, there will always be the crazy mother's who want fame for their kids---but not all kids will buy into it. The ones who do, I feel for.
