There was a time several years ago where I thought about my grandpa every day. He was pretty tall and bald and he died when was 13. During this same time CP was going through a phase where she was scared all the time. I literally couldn't leave a room of the house without her being next to me. Finally one day she told me there was a tall bald man always standing everywhere she looked. I brushed her off a few times but then made the connection that it was my grandpa. I never did figure out why he was there. She was so freaked out by it, we actually asked him to leave :(. And he did.

Something has been happening to me for the past couple of days that makes your post stand out to me in such an odd way I can't even explain. I don't want to go into it just yet, but... weird.

Burning won't get rid of anything that might have come through. In fact, it might prevent it from going back to the place from which it came. (Sorry if that creeps you out haha)

@njallday I love yours stories! Especially the first 2.

@notyourcheermom Your grandmother sounds awesome lol.

Everyone stories are so entertaining.

BTW @Emily are there any specific out-of-character incidences that you feel comfortable telling us about?

One incident still stands out to me over all the other ones: I NEVER jaywalk - I am the person that even waits until the traffic lights turn green in the middle of the night with no car in sight. One day I am at a traffic light that is at the end of a highway-exit and for some reason I cross the street while the lights are still red. When I was on the other side I look for something in my backpack and when I turn around my traffic light turned green and right that moment a car that comes from the highway doesn't stop but goes full speed over the red traffic light. Had I waited like I always do, I probably wouldn't be here today.

Did the little girl appear at all?

I have an experience with a ouija board...

When I was in 8th grade my sister and I hung out with the same girl. We visited her house one day and decided to play it. She lives in a house that's well over a hundred years old. At first we were getting something but each was convinced that it was one of us pushing it. Eventually the spirit started telling us things about himself. How he died (was shot in that house supposedly) when he died, what his name was, who killed him etc. Eventually we asked him where he was buried. He said it was at a cemetery that was only a few miles away, we drove out there and found his tombstone.

I personally was never scared of him because he didn't make any type of scary remarks or advances, however my friends younger brother was absolutely terrified. He wouldn't stay in the house while we played. One night he was asleep and we decided to play in the other room. He woke up in just an absolute panic screaming and crying. It was weird.

I used another one at a different friends house that was also well over 100 years old. We were playing with candles and we got a spirit that seemed really sketchy. So we decided to stop playing. When I went to blow out the candles the hot wax blew up in my face and burned me. We took the ouija board and burned it in her wood stove. Less than a month later her entire house burned to the ground from the woodstove. I'm 100% convinced it was a bad spirit.

I've played it here and there at parties since then but I haven't had an experience like those two. I believe in ghosts and demons and I think it's fascinating.

I keep thinking of more Stories. my mom, aunt and 3 of my friends were going out to the casino all riding in my aunts van. We were on a long, dark, sort of country highway, 4 lanes, but no other cars to be seen. All of a sudden a barefoot woman holding a piece of paper in her hand, wearing a tattered dress appeared in the road, facing away from us, walking. My aunt had to swerve to the left lane to avoid hitting her and we were all screaming at the sight of her, it was just scary. We all turned around after we passed her and she had disappeared. We all just had the worst feeling after that. It was definitely some negative presence.

When I was in my 20's I worked in Illinois but, lived in St. Louis. I worked in a major department store and I had closed that night during Christmas season so it was late. As I was driving home, approaching East St. Louis, not a place you want to break down in day or night, my car started losing power and then it would sputter and gain a little and then start losing power, again. I can not remember a time I prayed so hard in my life, I kept asking to just get me over the bridge into St. Louis. My car continued to sputter and gain power until it stopped on the highway across from my company's warehouse which had a security guard on duty 24/7. When my car was towed to the dealer the service department asked what it was doing and I told them. They finally called a few days later and apologized for it taking so long they had their electrical technician looking at it based on what I had told them was happening but, it turned out to be the timing belt. When I came in to pick it up the manager said, "I thought you said it gained and lost power for a few miles", and I said "yes, that's what happened". He said, "Miss, when a timing belt breaks, it breaks, there is no gaining and losing of power back and forth, the car just stops." I told him that is what happened from East St. Louis until it finally broke down in front of my company's warehouse. He said, "that's no timing belt, that's God and his angels."

I am so afraid of this kind of stuff! I have never experienced anything though. I have friends however that have, she told me she has two ghosts in her house. She can tell one is female and one is male and if she is disturbed by something they do she tells them to stop and they do. So creepy!!

I also played the oijua when i was younger. The only time something weird happened was when everyone sweared they didn't push the glass, which we all usually did. Don't think anything else happened though.

I have a few, but I won't post them all now.

I am a religious person & I believe in heaven & hell. I always worried about my mom's salvation. We had many talks about it over the years, but I still wasn't sure. My mom became ill and had a hospice nurse. One day the nurse told me to fly out quickly so I hopped on a plane the next morning. My mom died while I was in the air to go see her. She died in her house & my sister had the coroner take her away before I got to the house so I never saw her again.

I stayed to help my sister clean out the house, etc. One day I was alone in the house going through pictures at the dining room table & I heard the kitchen door close & felt someone was in the house. I looked up and saw my mom walking across the room. She turned and looked at me. She had a beautiful smile on her face and she nodded to me. She didn't speak verbally, but I heard her voice in my head. She said "It's ok. I'm where I should be. Be happy for me" and she walked down the hall. I felt a wave of peace flow through my body from head to toe. I thought I would be terrified, but all I felt was an incredible sense of calmness and happiness.

Fortunately no real paranormal experiences. However since I've been commuting to school from home I have definitely experiences some I'm not exactly sure how I ended up in the driveway moments. I've been know to zone out, but there have been some instances where I really don't remember a thing. Guardian angels are a thing, and I'm thankful.
