Yeah, that was a j5 team. An unassisted toss stretch at that age group at all is practically unheard of, let alone by a girl. PROPS

LOL, not sure about recent years, but when we competed against them in college in the early 2000s, they did that every year. NCA college nats require a "45 sec crowd routine" at prelims where you have to use creativity to get the crowd involved- props, signs, etc- and no stunts above prep level. I don't think that particular national on the video requires that, so they were probably just "practicing" it for NCA

the thing is its not just brandi doing the toss hands... its 5 girls! yeah the other ones may be assisted but that is still 5 toss hands from teenage girls... you may see 1 or 2 here and there but 5...?! in my book thats awesome! and im not trying to be bias because its my team. just be on the lookout at worlds... Well it's hard not to. Especially sense the poster said "ive never seen a girl do this before unassisted." This thread is less about someone's accomplishments and more about a girl tossing another girl and how never before seen/amazing it is.

No one was one uping anyone they were stating that it has indeed been done before and they were pointing it out since you said you had not seen it done before.

in my first year coaching allstars, I had a youth 2 (jr prep then)who competed 4 assisted toss hands to extension- they cradled out and everything... Those babies are now on senior 4 and 5, how time flies! :)
