I wish more teams did basket tosses together, as opposed 1 at a time, or groups of 2 or 3. It looks far more impressive when every flyer is doing the same skill in the basket toss at the same time.

The tumbling really is insane. They might give Panthers are run for their money in that area this year. It’s shaping up to be an interesting season. I predict another LAG dog fight at Worlds with no clear winner going into it.

I wonder what SE can do to win this year. WCSS is my fave gym and I WAS LIVING that comeback story last year, but darn it if I’m not pulling for SE a little bit this season. If they don’t win this year, I think it’s going to be a hard hit to morale that’s going to be tough to come back from.

Opinion: They have the talent or else they wouldn't be a Worlds team. I think it is a coaching/choreo thing. They are playing it very safe and to the scoresheet with elements that are very similar to last year's routine.

I really liked the idea of capris — functional, athletic, appropriate — but they don’t really seem to be catching on. Plus the body lines issue too. Cuts their legs right off.
