All-Star So...is This The First Routine On The 2012012 Season?!?!?!

I was talking to some friends that coach in Oklahoma...and apparently there is a competition in South Padre Island in the summer!

There are two Cheer-power and ASC each hold one in July

He's saying that there's no way they can compete outside in November through April.. aka real competition season. So September (not in that time period) is just a fun way to get the season kicked off at an amusement park.

Congrats to Green Bay and the diffculty is off the charts!!! I feel like this season EVERYONE is gonna go hard or go home. I just recently watched some high school teams perform and the diffculty was amazing.

oh, and idk, just seems like a fun type of competition to me, you cant perform outside under the sun at an amusement during the months of nov-april...especially not anywhere near green bay lol

@ShutItDown ....this is at Great America which is in Gurnee, Illinois.
and @yung.STAR ...she means you can't perform outside from Nov.-April because of brutal midwest winter weather, which is why it is fun to perform outside when you still can.

GBE competed at this competition last year too! I like the idea of competing this early. It gives you a head up on what you really need to work on, gives the teams a little bit of pressure, etc. but you don't have so much pressure that it gets the girls all worked up. Love the idea they have with the stunts! They'll look good in a couple months when they're all cleaned. No matter what time of the year you compete, your first comp will always fuel at least a few nerves and butterflies. Why not just get them out of the way early when you don't have a bid/title on the line!?

I just watched a video of GBE Gold in March and they looked to be a pure level 2 team. So to go from that to a pretty difficult level 3 routine, is definitely something to be proud of!
Love the idea that GBE has with moving kids with their team names for the most part.
