OT Sponsorship Letter

How do I go about asking for a sponsorship from local businesses? Without the sponsorships I could potentially receive, I can't do cheerleading this year. Any information on how to go about this would be fantastic!

Tip #1, try to put it on letterhead from your gym, school, organization, etc. It looks more official that way and people will feel more comfortable giving money when they can be sure it is actually going to that organization.
