Funny... A Teal Shark... Sr Small Elite, Teal Elite, or anything that goes with everyone else in the gym.... but a Shark, makes so much sense? It's a little "fishy" to me... Why not be an apple?

The "elites" are from the kville gym if im not mistaken. Its the raleigh gym that has animals as their nicknames. A while back there was a list of all the raleigh teams and their team name.

They're like, Crayola colors though. Are they even real colors? And to answer your original question, on a serious note, the cea teams pick names that describe them as a team if I remember correctly. They have everything from disney princesses, to oceanic fish, creepy winged bugs, feral horses/american cars, to 90's divisional names describing their teams. Sharks are also known as simply "Small Seniors". Perhaps a bit more fitting to your naming taste. Someone else can go into more depth about how the naming process works, maybe Sharkdad or msteal? I don't want to screw it up.

MUCH IMPROVED from Battle. Good for them.

Not impressed with the stunt though. Even if it is "signature," it's not cutting it in 2011 when Sm. Sr. stunts are getting crazy. I will agree with someone else when they said it was cookie cutter. I would hope (and assume) they change the stunt and beef it up more before worlds (if they would like to make top 3).

I feel there routine last year was "cookie cutter". Nothing beyond amazing. Just a clean routine with difficulty where needed. And look what it got them...a ring.

I started to lose faith in them after battle, but after seeing this they have claimed their spot back as my favorite team ever! Can't wait to see what they bring later on in the year!!!!

I feel like in general, the top teams are good but not MINDBLOWING like they've been in the past at the start of a new season. Not a single team is throwing anything that we haven't seen before (at least for the most) and Rays are included. Clean? Classic? yes, and that has gotten them the ring--> but at some point, one of these other teams throwing full punch doubles and 1.5 ups is gonna hit and beat them... I still love Rays, but I'm think CEA and Cali have the flair of champions as of right now.
