And don't always assume that these people have zero contact with the cheerleaders they admire. The entire reason I even have Mrs. Gardner and Maddie as Facebook friends is because three years ago Mrs. Gardner contacted me and admired how I always had such nice things to say not just about Maddie, but her other daughter Cassie also. We conversed for a while and she offered to send me a CEA shirt (before they had the online store) for free and sent me a wonderful hand written letter expressing her thanks to me just for having kind words to say about her daughters. It was such a nice gesture, so actually I DO know how grateful they are for all of this and that they have ALWAYS been this grateful. It's not just some sketchy act to try and "build her cheerlebrity-ness".
That's the thing about Sarah, these kids do talk to her, message her, text her and some adopt her as their mother. LOL She is a gracious, genuine and humble woman who makes anyone she comes in contact with feel like they are the most important person she has talked to that day. It's just a gift she has. I think people respond to that and therefore feel protective of her and her daughter/family. I would venture to say if you meet 1 person in your life like Sarah G then you have been blessed. The G's kids are kind, caring, talented and smart. And McLovin's example above is just a small example of the person Sarah actually is.
