What's the difference btwn a pop cradle and sweep cradle?
My girls can do a pop cradle. Is a sweep cradle easier? Can you explain it?

A pop cradle is when the bases dip and pop the top person higher in the air.
A sweep cradle is when the bases throw the tops feet out from under her.

If you can do a pop cradle don't switch to a sweep. You need to pop for good full and double downs.

Thanks....any chance you have a video?

I ask b/c some advice I got for another stunt their working on involve have the girls do a sweep crade immediately after they hit the stunt until they feel comfortable enough to hold it.

And I was told sweep cradle are a little easier=less energy

I'm not the guy for videos.

I'm not sure I would follow the advice you were given.

It is easier; mainly for the flyer but just because it's used when the flyer doesn't really know what she's doing. If she's already popping, don't do a sweep.

I didn't even know that that was really an actual technique. I was always taught that it's a big no no to sweep the flyers feet. ;)
