I think my major contribution to this board (minus my worlds weekend wedding and baby) was when that rando wrote a book about Chicago cheer and I went in on her. I can’t wait til the kids go to bed, I’m totally finding that thread.

I haven't heard his stuff in a while.

I feel like I vaguely remember him quietly stepping away after not fulfilling orders but that happens quite a lot so I could be confusing him with someone else? Whatever it was, I dont remember his disappearance in a positive way.

She deserved better. I hope she dumped him with her own hater mix chock full of sassy voiceovers and double down sfx. And then a dramatic pause in the music right before the final blow.

Still cant get over the fact that he told us to write the voiceovers ourselves for the mix he volunteered to do for a chance at a "$50 Ribbon Gift Album (basically a gift card to an online mall) from Slapfire!!!".

Golden.

I wasn't there for that, but I did enjoy reading it. Gotta love the "freedom of speech!!1!!!!" argument from the book promoters. Nevermind that freedom of speech prevents the government from censoring you, not the internet randos. And even if that weren't true, freedom of speech would NOT mean freedom of consequences of that speech. It works on absolutely no level.

I didn't read the book, but from what I gathered it sounds self-published. There's no way someone gave her money to publish something that atrocious.

Yea, it definitely got pretty heated. 7 years, feels so long ago, but I also can't believe it's really been that long.

Realizing that I knew and had messaged with whoadeedle and appledrinkyum made me realize just how long I’ve been on these boards..... y’all it’s been a decade.

He had a “music mixing class” that he was going to host online that a bunch of people paid for and he took the money and ran. And then he was taking money for mixes but only making mixes for big worlds teams like smoed for like.... two seasons. Multiple gyms paid for their whole program to get music from him and never got a track. That was back in 2012

oh i was a complete trip of a person back in the day when i first joined FB, but i was also young and dumb too, so you live and learn....
