My sons play a team sport, the hubs coaches (HS level, nationally ranked in their sport-most of the kids go on to play DI college). There are message boards for their sport as well. On those sites individual players are talked about, the good and the bad. They call them out by name, first and last. They discuss not only their play on the field, but make assumptions about them when they don't play (injuries, academics) and even discuss what they do off the field. It's just a part of sports that we need to accept now that the internet is such a major part of our lives.
yes this is very true!The difference is cheerleading is majority female and... well.. that is a huge difference.
