Okay, but you were still capable of making that sacrifice and paying up anyway, even if you considered it a ripoff; it's about managing your priorities. Honestly, I wouldn't want to pay for CheerLive anyway. From what I've been hearing (including your own attempts at purchasing it), it seems like a terrible service. I think it not being a good service would have be a perfectly valid reason to justify the free stream.
I'd be hard pressed to find an parent that wouldn't let a child use their credit card if the child is paying them back. Of course, I don't know your parents, and perhaps they're absurd people and refuse to take your money, but your post hardly insinuated any such thing.
Again, I'd like to stress that I think there are perfectly valid reasons for looking for a free alternative, including having the service be incredibly overpriced/substandard. I wouldn't have even cared that much if you had just said you didn't want to pay- at least that would have shown some sense of personal responsibility. But both of your posts gave the impression that there was no other solution to the problem of your parents not willing to use their own money for it, which is just silly.
