I have been waiting for this moment all year. The ultimate question will be answered. If University of Kentucky were to go head to head against the Louisville who will win? Now I know there will obviously be bias. And yes I know the styles are SOOOOO different it is almost impossible to compare the two. But, HEY, Live a little and have fun with it. I will! LOL LOL!

I judged and I went Louisville. And as an FYI, I personally know people on both teams so I am just giving my completely BIAS opinion!

If they competed the same routines they competed at nationals this season it would almost be impossible to find an answer simply because the two scoresheets differ. In order to determine who would win you would have to have a completely new scoresheet to judge routines.

Watching both teams final routines at nationals this year, I tried basing it more off stunts and thats still really hard.... they both are such good teams. I'd probably say UofK....? tough call...

How different are the scoresheets? Louisville seems to focus a lot more on tumbling than UofK. Also, UofK has a cheer where Louisville's routine is kind of like an all-star routine...format wise. Is this because of the different scoresheets?

I don't know the scoresheets that well, but I have always understood it as UCA goes for being clean and NCA is about difficulty. Tumbling is more important on the NCA scoresheet and they also require a dance/motion section from the girls. Plus jumps are required at NCA. Lastly the number of participants are different (and the number of floor panels) UCA uses 16 and NCA uses 20. UCA all girl divisions meet up with NCA better with the dance, jumps, and tumbling.

The differences in routines alone make it hard to compare the two.
