Like this.. Its my definition of a creative routine..I miss the creativity. I know some teams still show some creativity in their routines, but for the most part, everyone seems to be doing the same things. Whenever I watch main stunt sequences now, I see some sort of full up, a couple tick tocks, and a double down, and it all looks very similar. I remember when everything was very creative because doing things like tick tocks and full ups were practically unheard of and doing a straight up heel stretch was still something to cheer about. I like looking back at videos from 2009 or before because those routines were all entertaining since they were all different from one another.
The amount of janky motions I see, even on Worlds teams, is awful. :banghead: :cow:Clean motions
Have you ever got glitter in your eye? It hurts so bad...I see how it's dangerous, especially if it falls in while your stunting!
My CP6 was on a half year team last season, and the coaches decided to let the girls wear glitter if they wanted. CP6 was crying about having something in her eyes, and CP10 said "Oh, that's just a glitter ball. You'll get used to it"
Right? It might be my favourite routine ever.
I completely agree. My team I cross competed for two years ago did 11 jumps in our jump section, and every team thought it was crazy... It's called jump "section" for a reason...Jump sequences. They are still there of course, but go look at some early-mid 2000's routines. Jump sequences were multiple 8 counts long and involved choreography, level and formation changes and ripples. Now most teams do the basic 3 or 4 jumps to tumbling to max out and move on in an attempt to fit the most in the 2:30.
