I heard that some of them do actually cheer over here in the UK as well as compete in Acro.

None of them cheer, they wouldn't have the time the train a lot and their coach wouldn't let them do anything that might damage their training.
We where lucky enough to have them train for worlds with us when they where on tour. They are lovely people and very dedicated to their sport. They where interested in the fact that some of our elite acrobatic squad where also on our senior cheer squad though
