The rules were not broken before this year. I am telling you, it didnt make a difference until ICU when you had to bring more than 12 guys. In 2009 Bangkok only had 12 guys.

Well, obviously you SHOULD (in theory, because what should be done isn't always) enforce them. But the fact that it's taking a message board of people to point it out/ask questions and NOT the USASF or whatever (since people were saying they noticed it before), what does THAT say?

That's even worse then!!! because i watched the one top girl cradle to just one guy!!! I don't understand how you can miss that. Yes they by far had the best building skills of the entire division, but i dont think they USASF is showing that great of an example here.

LEVEL 6 RULES
LEVEL 6 GENERAL TUMBLING
A. All tumbling must originate from and land on the performing surface.
Exception 1: Tumbler may (without hip-over-head rotation) rebound from his/her feet into a stunt transition.

Exception 2: Round off rewinds and standing single back handspring rewinds are allowed. No tumbling skills prior to
the round–off or standing BHS are permitted.
B. Tumbling over, under, or through a stunt, individual, or prop, is not allowed.
Clarification: An individual may jump over another individual.
C. Tumbling while holding or in contact with any prop is not allowed.
D. Assisted or connected tumbling is not allowed.
Clarification: Double cartwheels and double forward rolls are allowed because they will be interpreted as stunts, not

E. Dive rolls are allowed:
Exception: Dive rolls performed in a swan/arched position are not allowed.
Exception: Dive rolls that involve twisting are not allowed.

But then again, this is from USASF.net which is in English so maybe they didn't understand that either.

I don't take USASF's rules very serious anymore, my nieces team had about half of their team made of kids from other gyms, in IOC5.

Well, I am not Andre, but as a Safety judge...this burns me up. It is hard enough to be a safety judge and having to argue/explain to coaches all year grey areas, where infractions were spotted, etc., let alone having to watch the USASF overlook and turn the other cheek on BLATANT rules violations at what is supposed to be the biggest, most prestigious event held each season. Every time I think we are heading in the right direction, there is some huge set back. I feel for Bangkok, and I really did enjoy watching them perform, but rules are rules are rules. Why should one team (or several) be granted a pass and others not? I just think it's wrong. Not saying it was meant to be this big of an ordeal, but this is something that NEEDS to be addressed and remedied and prevented from happening in the future if we are to legitimize this "sport" any further...and YES I put sport in quotation marks because as it stands right now, it is hard to view it as a true sport with no legitimate governing body ruling over it. SIGH :confused:

Here was the rule I was read (and PS - given a warning in the warmup room lsat year for not having a girl hold her hand out on a straight cradle)

Up to a 2-¼ twist cradle is allowed from all stunts and pyramids up to 2 persons high and requires at least 2
catchers. Cradles from 2-½ high pyramids are allowed up to 1-¼ twist and require 3 catchers.

If you can show me where it says because you are straight cradling you only need two catchers that would be appreciated.

They ILLEGALLY won a World Title, so YES it is a BIG ORDEAL and I'm kinda pissed it isn't a BIGGER ordeal.
