Advil. Ice. Hot tub. Conditioning on your own in between practices once you are less sore.
there is a such thing as to much practice. we practice fore 3-4 hours and the last hour we start to lose concentration. And people start to get hurt
We do full outs at the end. With arguably the hardest stunt sequence in the countryThis is why we do the more "simple" things at end of long practises - cleaning up dance and conditioning like push ups, sit ups, sitting against the wall and these things.
I'd never practise the hardest stunt sequences or pyramid at the end of a 3 hour practise, but there are teams who can handle this and it's on the coach to decide if the athletes are able to do it safely or not.
But i get that after 4 hours of practise there will be more falls and this could lead to injuried.
I'd rather have 3 or 4 times a week for less hours than one or two long practises

Cold therapy is always best for sore, inflamed muscles. In order to heal, inflammation must be brought down. There are some really good, body part specific wraps that come with 3 very concentrated gels. The company is called King Brand Healthcare, and the cold wraps are called 'ColdCure'.Advil. Ice.
