I found the Disney and ESPN representatives were very responsive to my feedback both Saturday and Sunday. They took my suggestion for the new VIP parent flow and helped implement it fairly quickly.

I am working on a method for parents and athletes to provide feedback directly to Disney/ESPN rather than through the USASF to help make the ever better if possible.

Ok im probably going to get a lot of hate for saying this ...... However

yes the venue was small, yes it was rude to ask us to show some class and get up from our seats when we had been there since 7 am to get the seats we wanted. HOWEVER parents did get to see their children they worked it out so they could come in the priority viewing and then leave to go with their team. Was it wrong to have award on a baseball field yes becuase large senior got theirs in the milk house and the teams ho were in Josten center got theirs in that building. I do feel bad for the cheerleaders who didnt get to have their awards ceremony on the worlds floor in the building they competed in . They do need a new venue to accommodate. If they have assigned seating i think that will cause a lot of trouble as well esp if you give parents the chance to buy the tickets before hand because who says each family wont buy 20 tickets for their friends and friends of a friend anf cousins once removed uncles brother friends.( you get whatim saying) that leaves no tickets left for those who love the sport and want to go and watch. I think some parents were rude to take seats from others I know thats the rule but come on you are adults no need to take a seat from another child because they got up to dance. I tihink some people take worlds over the top. As a spectator I know that parents pay a lot of money for their daughters to cheer i cheered for 16 years so yes I understand the money time and effort put into it. Who knows if they will get another arena or what they will do for next year.

I say.....no need to get your nickers in a twist and no need for the CAP letters. Just because it was my 1st trip to Worlds doesnt mean its my 1st Rodeo. I've been in Allstar for years and been to Dallas, Atlanta, DC, Indy, etc. There seems to always be some type of seating problem. And it didn't take a rocket scientist to know there would be a major problem Sunday. Parents should get priority seating (I never said they shouldn't) but we knew that wasn't going to be the case. I have been in similar situations where I have gotten other girls ready so their moms could get us seats and visa versa. People just have to put their heads together and try to figure it out. Sometimes it works. Sometimes, it sucks. There is a saying my grandmother use to say....."If you want to do something, you find a way. If not, you find an excuse.":) Have a blessed day

The one thing I did find was that overall in the milkhouse, as hectic and crowded as it was for parents to squeeze thru the mob at the priority viewing section to watch your teams, the crowd was very good about clearing the way to allow the parents and those connected to their gym to get up there and see their teams. However, If I were a parent of one of those teams sunday morning at the milkhouse trying to get in and they wouldn't let me in to watch my team because they had poor planning for the number of spectators, I would be one aggravated camper.

Georgia World Congress Center? More than enough room to set up 3 stages (look at Cheersport), plus some space left to have a place for athletes to mingle, meet each other, trade shirts, etc.

MGM Garden Arena in Vegas holds 15,000. What Spirit Sports has done and worked well in Palm Springs is put 2 floors and 2 backdrops in the middle of the venue back to back, there are no issues with not hearing your own music or hearing the other side (the place is just too small now too) but the same can be done at the MGM Arena and everyone will be in the same venue, no arguing over who's where

The Sands Expo Center and Venetian Congress facility, located at The Venetian, house 1.8 million square feet of combined meeting and event space.

Parking is free at all venues and believe me, you wouldnt have the issues of not enough security. Vegas has the best security imaginable in all public areas. As for entertainment, its the entertainment capital- not sin city of yester year. We dont really need a block party, but something can be arranged, just dont think its a good idea for younger kids to be partying with older people. Both of these venues have hotel space that dont require anyone to even walk through a casino.

ESPN is too small nothing can make it bigger.

Or.. they can not give as many bids out.. seriously it's ridiculous. There are far too many teams that should not be there. I understand they are making money off them, but at a certain point the product of going to worlds does not outweigh the costs of going.

Venues like Madison Square Garden, The Prudential Center, Giants Stadium or Yankee Stadium would be better. They are far bigger than the milkhouse and jostens put together. The Greater New York area is the best place to hold a world event.

And I wouldn't need to purchase airfare or hotel!!! Seriously though, the greater NY area is way too expensive when you consider hotel, transport and food.
