Hello, I have tryouts for high school cheer coming up, and I'm going to have to tumble on the hard floor. I have a standing back handspring on the spring floor, will it be a lot harder to do it on hard floor? Any tips or advice on tumbling on a hard floor?

I hope you've still got a mat down, even it it's not sprung. You'll need to be tighter when you tumble, and since you'll have no spring, you'll need a good shoulder pop off your hands to help you snap down. Push back as hard as you can right through your toes when you start. Good luck with tryouts
