Where do you usually teach whips? My daughter has a solid ro bh layout . So, now they are starting to teach her a whip.

I typically teach whips AFTER I've started introducing fulls, I do this ONLY bc sometimes a whip can screw up the set for a full if the set is not SOLID. Just the way I TYPICALLY do it.

Thanks for the reply. They haven't started her working on fulls yet, but she is really motivated to work hard so she can start to work on her fulls.

Often times I introduce punch fronts etc. if they are throwing layouts but not yet ready for fulls so they don't get bored. I delay whips as long as possible I also delay arabians until after doubles for the same reason. But then again that's just me.

She has her punch front. She would love to work on her full. I told her to be patient the Coach will teach it to her when she feels she is ready for it. What usually takes longer to get a full or a whip?

Full should take longer if taught correctly. But depends on the kid
