Their tweets seem a little different to normal... less professional and more over excited fan? They seem to like the exclamation mark a lot more than at previous comps... maybe its just me?

Yes it is being run by a different person kind of. Someone different is watching and giving the updates but I don't think they are the ones tweeting the updates I think they are just telling another person part of Industry News what they saw.

My cousin cheers for Pro Cheer (j3 and y3). I had no idea their senior coed went to large co-ed. But they have looked good this season.
