Yeah, I don't get why a team would walk into another's like that. Either its scripted for them to do it, or someone's being a publicity hound.

The line about changing their routine all the time. Who says that? Much less, who does that on a level two team?

They did change their routine at every practice. That was a hard working bunch of kids. But yes, the walking into the room was scripted.

The who conversation seemed so scripted like she (the coach) was purposely acting snotty. I couldn't stand it

Now like previously said, or the camera production was just done extremely well to seem that way. It seems it was an act of good gesture but was filmed negatively

My DVR went haywire on me and didn't record the last 2 episodes!!! Grrrrrrr

I agree filmed very negatively. I think that when that happened a few weeks ago where the lady came up to say we were the champs almost like a challenge. It was done enough.

I think they could have just shown us the routines because quite honestly, we did not get to see USA Passion or the winners looked like Fire and Ice. I think they think controversy is good for TV. Even among the moms.

The kids at USA looked very timid, I mean these are kids and that could have affected them too. Who knows but I could have just enjoyed seeing the routines and finding out the winner with the rest. Although I was there and saw the entire thing.

I just hope the kids are set for college because of this.

The kids from USA Allstars must have been you want us to act how. They are a great group of kids to compete against but they bring their game they know they are good and they don't get intimidated - in a good way - please no one take that meaning they really act snotty because have met them and they do not they are very friendly and talented kids and we compete AGAINST them. I feel sorry for USA Allstars because they are a good gym and certainly do not need that negative stuff connected to them. I hope this show goes silently away and they people at CTR coaches and parents grow up before their kids do and realize how bad this is for cheer and how negatively they are being portrayed - otherwise they just look like they don't get that people are laughing at them not with them.

Every time you post something, I read it in the voice of Glendia the good witch. And everything you say would be something she would say if she were a cheer mom.

Oh I know that it was filmed to look negatively! Isn't everything in that show? Lol. I just thought that the tone of her voice sounded kind of snotty. I don't believe at all that she is a rude person in real life and she probably genuinely wanted to say good luck or something. It just seemed like a very scripted snotty, as if the producers forced her to talk in that tone of voice or they wouldn't show them on the show.

Like I was in a play once and my character was a dumb blonde and my dumb blonde voice was very forced, not genuine. If that makes any sense lol.

Idk maybe I'm the only one who thought it sounded that way. Oh well!

I thought it sounded forced or fake too. There were too many awkward pauses in between everything, as if they had a script to say but weren't sure of when or how to say it. Passion kids looked uncomfortable too, like they weren't sure why they were there. I didn't see the point, unless it was strictly for drama since I've never seen another team act like that at competitions.

This episode should have it's own CTR drinking game. Take a drink every time someone says USA All-Stars Passion. It will make the whole fake pissing contest much easier to stomach. 21 and older only ;)

Don't feel like watching the episode, but I'm curious what happened. Dramatic recap, anyone?

Team Mom President showed a video of the National number 1 ranked Passion. All the Mom's could talk about all show, since they're obviously a good team. At US Finals, Passion walked into CTR's room and coaches had a seemingly made for TV pissing contest. Mom's continued to obsess over Passion and how to beat them. Passion came 2nd, CTR 5th after judging ruling on illegal stunt that was apparently not illegal based on other videos. CTR would have been 3rd. That's about all I remember

Great synopsis, but don't forget about the little girl who got bumped on the nose. Her nose began to bleed, James stopped the routine, the Moms freaked out/cried/etc, and CTR had to go again (beginning where James stopped the routine). During the whole thing, I just felt so bad for the kids, especially the one who had the nosebleed. We need to remember that even though these kids are on television, they are still little kids. I can't imagine that this little girl wanted her nosebleed on television or that because of that, the team had to perform again. At that age, it feels like the end of the world to these girls. Additionally, that being said, I do appreciate that they are showing a MUCH better side of Alisha and her relationship with her athletes.

I don't mean to sound rude, but no amount of editing can change the tone of voice and facial expressions a person makes while talking. Do I think the clearly scripted situation was edited to be even more tense and rude than it may have actually been? Of course, but if it was as you say, just an act of good gesture, I think maybe that woman should learn how to speak more positively when she's being nice.
