I'd like to think there's a general amount of offensiveness that everyone can agree on, and that from the beginning of the season, those songs shouldn't be used (or phrases)..am I the only one who thinks that this whole situation is being blown WAY out of proportion?

Most of it would be set phrases:
A lyric that blatantly depicts gruesome acts of violence.
A lyric that has every other word being kept out due to cursing.
A lyric that is blatantly demeaning towards women/subgroup.

Generally speaking, I think we can start with those set ones there and work forwards :) I would try to quote said lyrics, but the fierceboard would probably alter the words/I'd get the post wiped out due to content.

ETA: For example, the majority of the song 'Freek-a-Leek' by Petey Pablo probably can't be used. (Wouldn't go listen to that song unless you were over the age of 18)
