i dont get why teams spend all this money for.. lets be honest... crappy looking practice wear. i get they are excited to attend worlds, but it just seems pointless. its called a team shirt and gym shorts and done.

I don't understand why they can't wear the practice wear they've been wearing all season. Who is judging "omg I saw ___ Allstars in the same practice outfit they got in July! Gag!"

Uh it's not a fashion show. Kelly Osborne and Joan rivers won't be discussion y'all on fashion police. It's jus making an already expensive sport...more expensive. Unless you're getting worlds practice wear for free...you don't need it b

Love the CA practice wear but you know I am always a little nervous of a one shoulder sports bra. I would be scared it would get pulled down by accident but I think that might just be me. I swear its so much easier at times to be a boy :banghead:

I have a one shoulder sports bra that I very rarely wear, I find them very uncomfortable and I unfortunately do not think they look very athletic. I feel super exposed in it as well!

Okay, people are being a tad bit unrealistic...

Show up to World's in the same practice gear you've been wearing all season? Really? Gurl, you go ahead and do that... I'll be in my fresh new World's shirt. Don't try to trade me for it either. Haha. ;)

But seriously, Worlds is THE event of the year. If you're gonna order new gear, Worlds is the time in my opinion. How elaborate teams get, well that's their choice in fundraising/paid bids/ gym fees, but it's nice to have new stuff to wear/trade all weekend.

A local gym in our area has the girls buy new practice clothes at the end of the year, right before their last big comp. This turns into their practice clothes for the next season. If you come into the gym as a new athlete you buy the clothes that the current cheerleaders had just purchased a month or so ago. So you get fresh & new for special end of the year comp but you don't have to purchase practice clothes after tryouts. #WINNING

Okay the more i see sublimated practicewear the more i don't like it. Midwest Cheer Elite is just too much for my taste

i'm not even sure i would mind the sublimated boys' practice wear if the shorts weren't so dang big and baggy. i know a lot of boys don't want to go too far above knee level and don't want them tight (though i've met more than a few cheer boys who prefer girls' shorts :p) but these shorts are bigger than a basketball player's. i feel like that much fabric swinging around would get in the way of everything. so i wish whatever company is making these outfits would shrink the shorts a bit. (and maybe use that excess fabric to give the girls shorts an extra inch.)
