In Level 3, it says a 1/4 turn cradle is allowed from an extended lib. If a group was up in an aero and popped the flyer so that her feet swept behind her and she was caught on her side so that she was facing the crowd- would that be a 1/4 turn?

I believe the rule you are referencing is referring to a cradle where she squares her hips to the front when the cradle starts with the group facing the side!

When they mean 1/4 of a turn, I am pretty sure it means that if a flyer is turned sideways pulling a body position, the stunt group can turn 25 degrees to catch her.

Meaning, she would cradle to the front

At 0:34, they do a 1/4 turn cradle. We do it in level 2, though we can't do it from a lib in extension.

@Addie Farris is it what you are talking about?

What you described is not a cradle, it is a release move. A cradle must land in cradle position. The release move you described is illegal in level 3, as all release moves must be initiated below prep level.
