OT 16 And Pregnant

I'm surprised there hasn't been a thread posted for the new season. What'd everyone think of the new episode last night with the cheerleader?

Well, I posted in the Random Thread about it, and I sort of have mixed feelings. But, are we opening a can of worms regarding a minor here? Not that she didn't go on national tv, or anything, I'm just wondering if this could get hurtful at all...

Yeah my post is in the random thread as well. Overall she seems like a super sweet girl, but her still thinking she will go off to college and cheer just makes me roll my eyes. I don't see any coach at a major university putting a girl who not only had a child but had her child on national television on their team. When she did the bow&arrow then the OSU cheer while having a big pregnant belly I cringed.

I am also frightened for society after she said she didn't want to take birth control because she didn't want to get fat for cheerleading all while being pregnant. :banghead:

Thankfully no but she had to have her coach stand to give her support so she could show her friends "look I am still flexible".

She was from Planet Cheer in Joplin, MO.. but I think the gym closed after this happened.

cheer is less expensive then having to raise a baby.

According to the article, the gym was closed down in December 2010. I guess I am just suprised at just how old some of the 16 & Pregnant footage is.
