BB - Dementyeva RUS - Great switch ring, front aerial combo switch leap back tuck, misses a foot but stays on very well and hides it. R/o layout two feet little check. R/o bhs triple twist, little short on rotation and just a step. 14.9

FX - Belobylskaya RUS - Good passes and dancing. 2.5 twist into immediate split jump very pretty. A little ground work dance and some nice leaps. Double tuck bounce and step back last pass.

VT - Chelaru ROM - DTY, clean in the air but HUGE leg separation off of the table. Little hop back.

FX - Komova RUS - Very low on double arabian landing, many steps back almost sits. Looks like she is crying :( Hop forward on second pass, she is very nervous looking now. Little step forward on triple, step out of turn. Low chest on double pike and a step. Stands up to salute, and looks very defeated.

VT - Ponor ROM - Nice DTY! Very clean, slight bend in knees, and a little hop/step on the landing. LOTS of hugs going around the Romanian team.

FX - Komova RUS - 13.800

FX - Afanasyeva RUS - Gorgeous double layout but too much power, bounds back. Clean landing on second pass, Pretty attitude turn. Good jump out of third pass. Much more confident than the two before her. Little hop back on the double pike last pass. Good routine. Looks upset coming off of the podium though.

The whole Russian team is consoling Komova, who is visibly in tears now. It seems like she might also be having some ankle pain.

VT - Yuyuan Jiang CHN - Clean DTY in the air, very low bent knees landing, looks like her knees almost touched the ground, big step forward.

FX - Maroney USA - Here we go... She looks so fierce staring in the beginning. High 3.5 twist, step forward. YES hits secondpass r/o 2.5 punch front full! That's been giving her trouble all week. No problem here. Pretty double turn. Stuck 1.5 through to double tuck! SO close to line, one step and she would have gone out. Great leaps. Double pike step back last pass. Good routine!!!

VT - Qiushang Huang CHN - DTY little form problems, big step back but not too bad of a vault.

VT - Jinnan Yao CHN - Very nice DTY, little hop back. But very good form in the air.

FX - Wieber USA - Great double double little hop back. Huge smile from her. Stuck triple full, very clean. Still smiling in dance, nice leaps. Great 2.5 punch front layout, much better than quals, but one step OOB. Great double pike, great ending, great routine. Big hug to Aly going off the podium. Meets the whole team on the floor, all smiles and very excited. This is such an awesome meet for them! And such a young team!!!

She gets a 14.766 and runs over to the corner of the arena to find her coach, Geddert for a hug.

VT - Jinnan Yao CHN - 14.958

UB - Koko Tsurumi JPN - The crowd obviously excited for her. Pretty pirouetting to tkatchev, misses a handstand and comes off of the bar. The crowd is very encouraging though. Back on, pirouetting to jaeger, transitions high/low Stuck DLO dismount. She looks relieved to finish well.

Russia stands off to the side together all watching floor.

FX - Raisman USA - 1.5 through to double arabian, no punch front. Good move, was to close to line. Very nice double arabian piked. Clean leaps and dance for her. Crowd getting into it now. Stuck triple VERY nice. Last pass great double pike. Jumps off podium to her coach, Mihai who is crying and smiling. All the girls hugging and excited, I have chills. They're doing a team huddle. They're all just beaming.

Russia also in a huddle, getting a 175.329.

It's official, Raisman gets a 14.666 and USA wins with a 179.411!!!

China third with 172.82.
