But all of the posts aren't fine. I said yesterday to cool it with the stripper references. I don't agree with the way Weezy handled it, but 10 pages of stripper comparisons are absolutely unnecessary.

Well, then, if 10 pages of "dancer" references were fine, but only two posts were censored, and according to at least one author, the post was relatively tame, that stands to reason that the reason for censorship was what? Personal?

I've learned quickly not to underestimate the power of the internet. And large groups of people on it..collective focus is an incredibly large weapon to wield.

For clarification, let's just point out that I never did.

Beyond that, it's rare to change anyone's mind that is posting. But I'll bet you a lot of people that only read here have their opinions swayed by the arguments posted.

Appropriateness aside, I would just be genuinely terrified for my fingers as a base...

I'm already neurotic on my flyers' shoelaces not being tucked into her shoes. I can't begin to imagine the nightmare this would be for me :o

I do however kinda like the guys' uni. Sorta. I think..

So I am at Cheersport and haven't been able to read all of this thread so I apologize in advance for not doing that.

I saw the pics of the Top Gun uni yesterday and read a good bit of this thread last night. I didn't like the unis in the pics, at all.

I just saw them in person while walking with my 11 yo CP and my 17 yo FP. My daughter was horrified and my son said he was embarrassed for those girls.

In the appropriate setting the outfit is stunning. The girls are beautiful and their bodies are as well. But I can say this:

I want my CP to go as far as she can in this sport. But there is absolutely NO GYM OR TEAM that I want her to be a part of enough to EVER wear that uni. Ever.

Are you saying they were walking around the event in the uniform, no warmups over them? Or did you see them perform?

I like it better like this. Obviousness aside, there's just so much going on with this uniform. The animal print, mesh, rhinestones, straps, etc. Too much.

Pull the top up a bit, remove that god awful cleavage hole, and remove everything going on on the stomach (make this an actual crop top) and I'd love it.

Make the sleeves actual...sleeves, too.

It's like wearing a red lip and understated eye. Or smoky eye and nude lip. You just dont do over-the-top everything at once.

But what is down the sides.. Its like lazy designing. Look for a filler, throw in a random print and hope it turns out fine.

I would say those that refused to give up arguing about issues with USASF and Varsity have caused some great change for the better is a great example of change happening in part due to an internet forum!
