the bias in some people is extreme enough to attack shoes now, come on!

What I'm trying to say (in my own crazy, badly worded way) is:
I seems to me like the uniform was designed for the shoes.
I doubt the designers finished the uniform and thought :
"We need black shoes with this uniform! Oh wait a minute, doesn't our gym owner have a line of shoes he's trying to market that are black?! How convenient"
as opposed to :
"Our gym owner as a line of shoes he's trying to market that are black, lets design a uniform for them"
I'm not saying this is shady or whatever, tglc are well known and they can market the shoes. They have been hitting all season wearing the shoes, so they aren't hindering them. It makes sense for the money side of the vro business. But lets call a spade a spade and stop pretending this isnt what could have happened.
has anyone ever told about what happens to people who ASSUME almost everything?
For my CPs first 2 cheer seasons, her gym required Nfinity shoes. We switched gyms and new gym requires Nike. My CP HATES her Nike cheer shoes. Says they are so uncomfortable. Trying to convince new gym to just let me get her Nfinity again for next cheer season. Plus, I think she stunted much better in her Nfinities.
Kudos to the athletes wearing them, as you couldn't pay my CPs' to change shoes partway through the season. Every time they need to be replaced, my middle CP complains for weeks.
I was lucky enough to cheer for a program that allowed us to pick our own shoe as long as it was a white cheer shoe. I wore Nike (and they discontinued they kind I wore now) and others wore Nfinity or whatever brand they preferred. If someone told me I had to wear Nfinity, I would have been upset, mostly because I hated how they felt on my bad ankle.Obviously, its the coaches decision of the design of the uniform and the team members have to wear it but I don't know how I feel about the coaches forcing their athletes to wear a certain shoe to compete.
Oh and I might be the only one, but I love Nike cheer shoes!
I like Nike cheer shoes for school cheer! The lightness and flimsy sole of Nfinities and their Varsity counterpart (Last pass or whatever) do not hold up well on grass/mud/track whatever you have to cheer on for football. Also, when you have to stand around in them for hours, I find them to be much more comfortable and more supportive.
In terms of them wearing the shoes designed by Victor, I don't care if the shoes or the uniform idea came first, but it makes sense for TGLC to wear them. Their coach designed them after all. And what better advertising is it to have a World Champ team wear them that have been kicking butt all season? Also on the topic of TGLC, is anyone else nervous that they're peaking too soon? Maybe I'm just paranoid, but with having so many good performances, I'm scared they might have a BSB or WE Generals incident at Worlds.
So. Perfect. My kids new uniforms. They are youth level 2.

After a minute, I've decided I actually love these Top Gun uniforms.
However, I still haven't decided if that's because they remind me of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
Thanks :cloud9:So. Perfect.
Thanks a lot, I made the bows! :DLove these! Really sharp, age appropriate, clean, everything! Love the bows, too :)
